William "Bill" McBee

William "Bill" Dean McBee, 69, of Elizabethtown, IL., passed away on August 13, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. He was born to Otis McBee and Maxine Vinyard on August 23, 1941 in Elizabethtown, IL. Mr. McBee was a former Marine and served in Vietnam. He was a dispatcher for the Hardin Co. Sherriffs Office and a memeber of the Elizabethtown Fire Department.
He is survived by his Wife: Linda ( Mercurio ) McBee of Elizabethtown, IL.; Son: Mike & Lisa McBee of Elizabethtown, IL.; Son: Brian & Michelle McBee of Carrier Mills, IL.; 5 Grandchildren; 2 Great GrandChildren; Sister: Sharon Reed of Elizabethtown, IL.
He was preceded by his Parents: Otis & Maxine McBee.

Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of the services. As per his wishes, Mr. McBee has been cremated. A visitation will be held at Cox Funeral Home on August 18, 2011 from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Graveside services will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Elizabethtown, IL. The Rev. Harold Miller will officiate.
