Wendell Conkle, 60, of Elizabethtown passed away at Hardin County General Hospital Thursday, October15, 2009.
Wendell is Survived by his wife Elizabeth "Libby" Conkle; One Daughter DeeAnn Conkle; One Son Wendell Conkle Jr. and a sister Nellie Miles.He also survived by two grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Conkle is Proceeded in death by his parents Opal and Sam Conkle; Three brothers Otis Conkle, Everett Conkle and Robert Conkle; and One sister Lucille Conkle.
Mr. Conkle has been a member of the Elizabethtown Volunteer Fire Dept. for many years.
