Shirley Ann Lewis

Shirley Ann Lewis, 75, of Cave-In-Rock, Il. passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born on July 16, 1941 in Hardin County, IL. Mrs. Lewis was a member of Potters Church and the owner of the Cave-In-Rock Ferry and Lonnie Lewis Farms. She also worked for the U.S. Postal service for 25 years.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her Husband: Lonnie Ray Lewis of Cave-In-Rock, Il.; Daughter: Judy Rae and Doug Kaegi of Cave-In-Rock, Il; Granddaughter: Loni Jo and Bradley Banks of Karbers Ridge, Il.; Great Grandchildren: Raegan and Calen Banks of Karbers Ridge, Il.; Special Niece: Teresa Rohr of Olney, Il.; and several other Nieces and Nephews.
Mrs. Lewis is preceded in death by her Parents: Harley and Lola Patton; 3 Sisters: Esther Derringer, Agnes Burnett, and Inez Hensley; Grandfather: Jack Burklow.
Hardin County Funeral Service, Cox Funeral Home will oversee arrangements. Visitation will be held Friday, May 19, 2017 at Potters Church in Cave-In-Rock, IL. from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. with service starting at 1:00 p.m. at same location.
