Russell “Scott” Schutt, 54, of Hardin County, IL, passed away April 22, 2024. Scott was a proud retiree of the Illinois Department of Transportation after 31 years of service. Outside of work Scott was a big movie buff, as well as a theme park lover, he was also a passionate coach whether it be officially on the baseball and softball fields or as a fan in the stands.
Survivors include his daughter; Kaitlyn Perantoni, parents; AD Schutt and Gail Embree Haley, and brothers; Shaun Haley, and Aaron Schutt
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Carl and Veda Embree, and Clyde and Molly Schutt.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date, Hardin County Funeral Services will be handling arrangements.
