Roger Dale Hughes, 68, of Marion, KY died Tuesday at his home in Marion, KY. He was an Air Force Veteran, Kentucky Colonel and member and Sunday School Superintendent of Unity General Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife, Dorothy Hughes of Marion, KY; daughters, Rachelle McNeely of Sebree, KY, Renee Hurley of Mt. Joliet, TN, Teresa Baird of Marion, KY, Carrie Burnett of Mayfield, KY, Lisa Hughes of Marion, KY and Amy Hutchison of Benton, KY; sisters, Peggy Sherman of Evansville, IN and Patty Wheeler of Marion, KY; 19 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennett and Sylva Hughes; 1 son and 2 daughters.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-9 Friday at the funeral home.
