Robert Ray Nichols, 74, of Marion, KY died Friday at his home.
He was a member of Caldwell Springs General Baptist Church, Past Master of Frances Masonic Lodge No. 580, Parkerville, KY Masonic Lodge No., Scottish Rite, Hadi Shrine, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 1 in Mt. Vernon, IN, Army Veteran and Kentucky Colonel.
Surviving is his wife, Sarah Nichols of Marion; children, Brian Keith Nichols of New Harmony, IN, Eric Nichols of Evansville, IN and Lisa Burk of Yakama, Washington.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Ruth Anne Nichols; parents, Bethel Lou and Cora Hawkins Nichols; 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-9 Monday at the funeral home. Masonic Rites will be given at 7 PM Monday at the funeral home.
