Richard McDaniel, 89, of Wesley Chapel, FL formerly of Tolu, KY died Sunday December 19, 2010 in Florida.
He was a member of Olivette Nazarene Church in Portage, IN, Army Veteran Of WWII, and retired from E.J. & E. Railroad in Gary, IN.
Surviving is his wife Marcia McDaniel; children, Thomas Richard McDaniel, David Louis McDaniel, Kevin Alan McDaniel, Mary Helen McDaniel, Brenda Onan, Marilyn Kay McDaniel, Wanda June Strong, Doye Marie McDaniel and Karen Wakefield McDaniel; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Eula McDaniel; wife, Loretta Benton McDaniel; daughter, Deloris Jean Wilcox; son, Coleman Lee McDaniel and 3 brothers.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday December 29, 2010 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Union Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Tuesday December 28, 2010 at the funeral home.
