Rev. James T. Boone, 101, of Marion, KY died Thursday at Crittenden County Health and Rehab. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Surviving is his daughter, Karen Wheeler of Marion, KY; son, Herbert "Bud" Boone of Marion, KY; 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren and 4 step great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Boone; parents, William Orville and Lola Mattie Boone; son, Marion Boone; daughter, Nina Woodall; 4 brothers, 3 sisters; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
