Peggy Faye Ritch

Peggy Faye Campbell Ritch, age 78, of Marion, KY, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025, in Paducah, KY.

She was born May 26, 1947, in Princeton, KY to the late William and Rowena Thurman Campbell.

Peggy worked various jobs throughout her life, starting with the Marion Drive-In as a teenager. From secretary at Second Baptist Church, to the assembly line at Siemens, and Executive Manager in Tupperware, she took pride in her work – but being a Mom & Mammaw were her favorite jobs of all.

As a young girl, she enjoyed working on her family farm. She was proud to be a small-town girl and loved her community dearly. Her favorite thing in the world was spending time with her family, friends, church family, and the Class of 1966. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and was happiest when she was helping others. Anyone that knew Peggy knew her passion for music, especially southern gospel quartets; she even served on various boards supporting the efforts of these musicians spreading the gospel through music.

Survivors include her daughters, Angie (Lance) Sloan of Lebanon, TN and Kim Ritch of San Francisco, CA; brother, Ed (Diane) Campbell of Argyle, TX; grandchildren, Azia Hurley of Tempe, AZ, Brayton (Cheyenne) Hurley of Ft. Mitchell, AL, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Ritch, and daughter, Christa Ritch.

Celebration of Life visitation for Peggy Ritch will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM till 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home. Services will follow at 1:00 PM with Bro. Kirk Greenfield officiating.
