Ovella Doom Perryman

Ovella Doom Perryman, 85, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Crittenden Hospital.She was a member of the Marion Church Of God.Survivors include three daughters, Doris and her husband Norman Newcom and Darlene and her husband Sonny West, all of Marion and Marla and her husband Danny Rushing of Edgewood, Md.; a son, Hank and his wife Sally Doom of Louisville; a step-son, Larry Perryman of Merriville, Ind.; five sisters, Ella Oaks of Saltville, Va., Patsy Seip of Live Oaks, Fla., Olivine Atwell, Audry Meadows and Elsie Cameron, all of Rural Retreat, Va.; a sister-in-law, Betty Gillespie of Seminole, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis E. Doom Sr.; a second husband, James Perryman; a son, Lewis E. Doom, Jr.; her parernts, Henry H. and Cora B. Gillespie; three brothers, Dorsey Lee, Henry and Willis Gillespie; and four sisters, Hazel Gillespie, Janie Hinchcliffe, Louise Baldwin and Gladys Hoover.Funeral services were Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion with Rev.
