Margie Lou Sisco, 94, passed peacefully on October 6th, 2025, at Axiom Healthcare of Rosiclare.
Margie was born in Rosiclare, Illinois, on January 9th, 1931, to Ralph Volle and Maude Volle (Amsden). She married Hubert Sisco on August 20th, 1950, who preceded her in death on April 16th, 1997. Margie had three brothers, James “Dub” Lynch Sr. (Dorothy), Hubert Ray Volle (Dotty), and Robert Lynn Volle — all of whom preceded her in death.
Margie worked at the Rosiclare nursing home briefly, but spent most of her life as a caregiver. She took care of two generations of her family, and was best known as our beloved Aunt Margie. She was a lifelong devoted member of the Church of Christ and attended Philadelphia Church of Christ, where she taught children’s bible study for many years.
She is survived by sisters-in-law Shirley Volle and Dotty Volle; nieces Bobbi Archdale, Joey Biggs, Debra (Jim) Wiley, Teresa Smith, and Lisa Parr; nephews Tracy Volle, Larry Volle, Stan Volle, Steve (Crissy) Volle, James (Gloria) Lynch Jr.; and a host of great and great-great-nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
A special thank you to staff of the Axiom Healthcare for their devoted care of our dear Margie Lou.
Margie will be dearly missed but has earned her eternal salvation. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:8
