Marcella Rose Hopkins, 62, of Fredonia, KY. formerly of Chicago, IL. died Friday February 17, 2017 at Crittenden Health Systems. She was a member of Emmaus Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Hopkins of Fredonia, KY; children, Jessica Gonsalez of Chicago, IL., Joeseph Schrimsher of Marion, KY. Jennifer Cosby of Paducah, KY., Bill Schrimsher of Marion , KY. ; step son, Wade Hopkins of Fredonia, KY: 3 sisters; 1 brother; several grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Demetreo "Jack" Gonsalez and Rose Harriet Gonsalez.
Services are scheduled for 6 PM Sunday February 19, 2017 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY. The family will receive visitors from 3 PM until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
Per her wishes, Mrs. Hopkins will be cremated.
