Keith Allen Arflack

Keith Allen Arflack 66 of Athens, AL passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026 after a 15-month battle with cancer. He was a son born on October 18, 1959 at Ireland Army Hospital, Fort Knox, KY to Colonel (Ret) Kenneth B and Janice McKinney Arflack. He lived a life marked by devotion to his family, dedication to his work and a quiet appreciation for the natural world.

Keith graduated from American High, Fremont, CA and attended Murray State University, laying the foundation for a care built on hard work and perseverance. He spent his professional years working in automotive manufacturing with his last 5 years working for Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, Athens, AL as a quality inspection engineer, where he earned the respect of his colleagues through his steady commitment and dependable character. His work ethic was a defining quality that those around him deeply admired.

On a personal level, Keith was a man of simple pleasures. He was an avid deer hunter and outdoor gardener who cherished time spent outdoors, finding peace and renewal in the stillness of nature. Those who knew him best understood that those quiet moments in the field and yard reflected the kind of man he was: patient, thoughtful, and grounded.

Keith is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kathryn (Yuhas) Arflack, daughter, Marisa (Adam) Bomberger of CT, his parents, Col (Ret) Kenneth B. and Janice (McKinney) Arflack, twin brother, Kevin (Lisa) Arflack, brother, Kent Arflack, Madison, AL, uncles, Danny (Shirley) McKinney of Las Vegas, NV and Carl (Patty) Arflack of Glasgow, KY.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude and Ruby (McDaniel) Arflack, Orville and Cora (Croft) McKinney, and uncles, William Bruce (Elaine) Arflack, LtCol Larry (Carolyn) Hodge

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Mapleview Cemetery in Marion, KY.

Private visitation will be held.
