John G. Brown

John G. Brown, 80, of Marion, KY. died Sunday at Crittenden County Hospital. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Frances Masonic Lodge No. 580 and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma Brown of Marion, KY; children, Bruce (Suzzanne) Brown of Marion, KY, Wayne (Joyce) Brown of Eddyville, KY and Delores Sunderland of Marion, KY; brother, Chester Brown of Marion, KY; sisters, Bobbie Brasher of Marion, KY, Betty Jean Fitzgerald of Marion, KY, Ada Nell Peek and Cathy Nelson both of Indiana; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Naomi Cox Brown and 6 sisters.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Frances Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Masonic Rites will be given at the funeral home 7 PM Tuesday and Military Rites will be given at the cemetery on Wednesday.
