John F. Collyer, 71, of Marion, KY died Sunday April 16, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was a member of Mexico Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Collyer of Marion, KY; children, Troy Hart of Ohio, Reggie Hart of Davidson, N.C., Stacy (Kim) Collyer of Marion, KY, Carolee Hart Harris of Marion, KY and Jana Collyer (Gordon) Johnson of Greer, S.C.; stepson, Wade (Diane) Hopkins of Fredonia, KY; brothers, Jim (Peggy) Wakefield of Mesquite, TX, Bob Wakefield of West Frankfort, IL and Tom (Michelle) Wakefield of Tulsa, OK; sister, Carolyn (Bob) Jones of Dallas, TX and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Judy Hill Collyer; father, John A Collyer; mother, Robbie Wakefield and brother, Joe Wakefield.
Memorial services are scheduled for 4 PM Tuesday April 18, 2017 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY. The family will receive visitors from 1 PM until service time and directly after the service until 7 PM at the funeral home.
