Jerry “Bud” Travis

Jerry "Bud" Travis, 81, of Marion, KY passed away December 22, 2023 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehab in Salem, KY. Survivors include his daughter, LeAnn (Lee) Blazina of Marion, KY; son, Rodney Travis of Marion, KY; sisters, Geneva Rustin of Fredonia, KY, Donna Winders of Marion, KY and Brenda Clark of Marion, KY; grandchildren, Travis and Caden Blazina of Marion, KY and Elijah Travis of Owenton, KY as well as several nieces and nephews. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn; parents, Corbett and Barbara Travis; brothers, Wendell Travis, Randell Travis, Corbett Travis and Harold Travis and sisters, Virginia Klutey, Linda Kirk and Shirley Brown.
An avid trucker, Bud followed in his family’s passion and logged over 5 million miles, earning multiple safety and driving awards throughout his decades long career.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM  Tuesday  December 26, 2023 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
