Janice V. Wright

Janice V. Wright, age 90, of Marion, KY, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Lake Barkley Health and Rehabilitation in Kuttawa, KY. Janice was born on June 24, 1935, in Marion, KY to the late Vernie C. and Hazel Duffy Orr. She was a member of Marion Second Baptist Church.

Survivors include her brothers, Ronald “Tink” Orr of Marion and Gerald “Butch” Orr of Marion; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wright; sister-in-law, Donna C. Orr.

Visitation for Janice Wright will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion.

Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Lowery officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery in Marion.
