James Charles Alexander

James Charles Alexander, 89, of Marion, KY died Monday at Livingston County Hospital in Salem, KY. He was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army, Member of Piney Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he was an Elder for 60 Years and Session Clerk for 30 years.

Surviving is his wife, Hilda Mae Alexander of Marion, KY; grandchildren, Tiffany Ledgerwood of Madison, Alabama and Jason Dansby of Madison, Alabama and great grandchild, Sky Benay Ledgerwood of Madison, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lola Alexander; daughters, Debra Dansby and Diana Berard; 1 sister and 1 brother.

Services are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Piney Fork Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
