James "Jim" Morrison

James "Jim" Thomas Morrison, age 86, of Marion, KY, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Crittenden Health and Rehabilitation.

Jim was born on April 29, 1940, in Crittenden County, KY to the late Larnie Morrison and Iva Ray Conger. Jim was known for his strong work ethic and love for his trade. He was a staple in the community through his tire and wheel business, Jim's Wheel Shop. Jim was a dedicated man to his faith, sharing his joy for praise by serving as song leader at multiple local churches.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Kimsey Morrison; son, Brent (Lindsay) Morrison; granddaughter, Ava Morrison; half-brothers, Mark Morrison and Drew Morrison.

Services for Jim Morrison will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Winders officiating. Burial will follow in Whites Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM till 12:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home on Sunday.
