James E. "Bud" Crider, 87, of Marion, KY died Tuesday at Crittenden Health Systems. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, UAW and was a United States Army Veteran.
He was survived by his wife, Katie Crider of Marion, KY; son, Dr. Steve (Debbie) Crider of Marion, KY and daughter, Doris (Alan) Stout of Marion, KY. He was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Guy and Gracie Crider; daughters, Joyce Ann Crider and Linda Jones; brother Kernie Crider and 2 infant brothers.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Friday December 26, 2014 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Piney Fork Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until service time Friday. Bro. Kory Cunningham will be officiating.
Donations may be made to the Piney Fork Cemetery Incorporation, c/o Sarah Ford, 220 S. Weldon St., Marion, KY 42064 or Emmanuel Baptist Church,Greenwood Heights, Marion, KY 42064.
