Gulie Clark Hackney

Guile Clark Hackney, age 63, passed away on May 27, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.

Clark worked for Henry and Henry Monument for more than 20 years. In his free time, Clark enjoyed being around the lake, grilling and swimming. He loved watching his Westerns and was a big John Wayne fan. Above all, Clark cherished being with his children and grandchildren. 

Survivors include his wife, Michelle; sons, Charles (Kassidy) Hackney, Aaron (Misty) Duvall, Josh (Alana) Ipock; daughters, Clairesa (John) Crabtree, Lacey Reader, Tiffany Ipock, Candace Hackney; 19 Grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joey (Beth) Hackney, Eddie Hackney, Ron Hackney; sisters, Jeanette Doom, Donita James, Diann Shuecraft, Naomi Garrett, Sharon Tinsley; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Charles and Shirley Hackney; brothers, Allen and Dean Hackney, and Brother-in-law, Petey Doom. 

Services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, starting at 12:00 PM with Bro, Daniel Orten and Aaron Duvall officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 AM till service time.

 Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
