Eldon Ray James, 87, of Marion, KY died August 23, 2020 at Crittenden County Health and Rehab. He was a member of Marion Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mary James of Marion, KY; son, Tony (Janet) James of Evansville, IN; daughter, Tammy (Randy) Travis of Marion, KY; grandchildren, Dr. Justin (Ami) Travis of Paducah, KY; Ann (Matt) Moore of Marion, KY; Janson (Kara) James of Murray, KY, Paxton (Sydney) James of Murray, KY and Naya James of Evansville, IN; great grandchildren, Natalie and Emily Travis and Travis Moore and sister, Norma Freeman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Alma James and 7 siblings.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Wednesday August 26, 2020 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
