Doyle G. Polk, Jr.

Doyle G. Polk, Jr., age 98, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Salem Spring Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation in Salem, KY.

Doyle was born on January 18, 1928, in Crittenden County to the late Doyle, Sr. and Ina Stubblefield Polk. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, stationed in Germany assisting with the rebuilding effort. Doyle worked for many years at Chrysler Corporation as a dock worker. He loved researching genealogy and local cemeteries. Doyle enjoyed nature and feeding his birds. Above all, Doyle loved his family dearly and cherished time with them.

Survivors include his sister, Linda Perryman and several nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, Doyle is preceded in death by three sisters, Georgia Nell Polk, Maragaret Riley and Billie York; one nephew, Ted Perryman.

Graveside services with military honors will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Frances Cemetery.
