Dorothy June Shewcraft

Dorothy June Shewcraft, age 97, of Marion, KY, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah, KY.

Dorothy was born on June 14, 1928, in Lyon County to the late Ray and Tylene Baldwin Owen. Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of Seven Springs Baptist Church,

Survivors include her son, Jeff (Cindy) Shewcraft of Gallatin, TN; daughter, Glenda Gay (Michael) Oliver of Richmond, KY; three grandchildren, Dustin (Angela) Shewcraft, Daniel Shewcraft and Ashley (Zach) Haney; great grandchildren, Macey Shewcraft, Maddox Shewcraft, Merrick Shewcraft, Easton Shewcraft, Molly Shewcraft, Oliver Haney, Tilley Haney, Maisy Haney and Bettie Haney.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Shewcraft and sister, Henrietta Manley.

Visitation for Dorothy Shewcraft will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home with Bro. Dustin Shewcraft officiating. Burial will follow in Frances Cemetery.
