Dorothy Marie Hobbs

Dorothy Marie Hobbs, 77, of Marion, KY passed away January 8, 2026 at her home in Marion, KY. She was a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Melinda (Micheal) Travis of Marion, KY; grandchildren, Jacob (Ashley) Hunt of Marion, KY and Kaylin Travis of Smithland, KY; great grandchildren, Macy, Shane, Owen, Cade and Olivia; brother, Richard Leo Winters; special friend, Paul Crowell and special caregiver, Phyllis Buchanan.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Hobbs; parents, Richard and Rosalee Winters; sisters, Thelma Winders and Lora Buckman and brother, Ray Winters.

Services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday January 10, 2026 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
