Dennis Edward Woodall

Dennis Edward Woodall, age 83, of Marion, KY, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, at his home.

Dennis was born on October 7, 1942, in Dawson Springs, KY, to the late Walton, Sr., and Geneva Sullivan Woodall. After college, Dennis worked for Farmers Bank in Marion. He would then go on to start his lifelong career as a car salesman, beginning at Marion Chrysler. From there, Dennis worked at various dealerships until he opened his own, Denny Woodall's Used Cars. When not on a car lot, Dennis, was heavily involved in his church, St. William. There, he served on the Parish Council and was instrumental in the expansion of the Parish. He was also involved in the community, serving as past president of The Chamber of Commerce and J.C. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting antiques. Above all, Dennis loved his family dearly and cherished time with them, especially watching and being with his grandsons.

Survivors include his wife, Lynann Loyd Woodall; daughter, Rebecca Woodall; sons, Chris (Channa) Woodall and Terry (Leslie) Woodall; grandsons, Brady Woodall and Will Woodall; sister, Saundra Pippin.

In addition to his parents, Dennis is preceded in death by his brother, Walton Woodall, Jr.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 14. 2026, at St. William Catholic Church in Marion.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM till 7:00 PM at St. William and again from 10:00 AM till Mass on Friday.

Rosary services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 7:00 PM at St. William.

Burial will follow in St. William Catholic Cemetery.
