Deborah Kay Melton

Deborah Kay Melton, age 65, of Marion, KY passed away at her home on Friday, July 24, 2026. She was the owner of Pilot Car Service and was of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include her husband, Everett Melton, Marion, KY; her mother, LaMarilus Stoddard Peace, Greenville, KY; three daughters, LaRessa Melton, Marion, KY, Johnna Henager, Eddyville, KY and Kayla Henry, Marion, KY; one son, Ryan Dunning, Sturgis, KY; 12 grandchildren, Dillan (Emma) West, Brysen Baker, Brystin Dunning, Kaden (Emily) Langston, Leauna West, Bryanna Dunning, Jaycee Baker, Jackson Jones, Gracen Faughn, Sofia Fitch, Oakley Faughn, Jozie Fitch; two great grandchildren, Elinore Collins and Ridge Collins; one brother, Bobby (Melinda) Peace, Greenville, KY; one sister, RaVae (Tim) Dorris, Dunmor, KY; one brother-in-law, Mike Ashley, Greenville, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Bob Peace and biological mother, Geraldine Saia Peace and one sister Teresa Ashley.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY. Funeral services be at 1:00 pm at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Burial will follow in Crowell Cemetery in Crittenden County.
