David Bruce Roberts

David Bruce "Grandpa" Roberts, 84 years young, passed away peacefully in his home after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his son, a daughter, daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons. David was born November 11, 1940 in Shelbyville, IL to Rue and Sarah Roberts,

Survivors include his son, Scott (Cindy) Roberts; daughters, Sarah (John) Graff, Staci (Clyde) Bumgarner and Sheri Roberts; 16 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Fury and a grandchild, Amanda.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare, IL is in charge of arrangements.
