Cora G. "Dodie" Day, 95, of Rosiclare, IL died Thursday May 25, 2017 at Rosiclare Healthcare. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist.
Survivors include her daughters, Paula Bowling of Metropolis, IL, Carol (Darrell) Staggs of Kingman, AZ, Judith (Randy) Sinclare of Baton Rouge, LA; Patricia Wettstein of Stockton, CA; son, Ronald Day of Golconda, IL; brother, Bill Tyree of North Carolina; sister, Juanita Knaipe of Kirksville, MO; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Day; parents, John Melvin and Martha Tyree; 1 brother; 1 sister; 2 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Sunday May 28, 2017 at Hardin County Funeral Service, Cox Chapel , in Rosiclare, IL with interment in Dixon-Volkert Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
