Clyde Eugene "Gene" Hohimer, 83, of Cave-In-Rock, IL died September 5, 2022 at Hardin County General Hospital. He was a retired truck driver and worked part time for the Cave-In-Rock State Park.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Hohimer; son, Allen (Megan) Hohimer of Cave-In-Rock, IL; grandsons, Bryce and Eli Hohimer of Cave-In-Rock, IL; sisters, Wanda (Al) McDermott of Cave-In-Rock, IL and Charlotte (Mike) Pritchett of Omaha, IL; brother, Tom Hohimer of Henderson, KY and sister-in-laws, Barbara Boyd Hohimer, Barbara Flynn Hohimer and Marie Millikan O'Neal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Altha Hohimer; brothers, Doug and Leo Hohimer and sister, Alice Carrier.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Friday September 9, 2022 at Potters Church in Cave-In-Rock, IL with interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Thursday at Potters Church.
Donations may be made to Potters Church or Levee Pond Church.
