Barbara Lynn Gross

Barbara Lynn Gross, age 66, of Fredonia, KY, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.

Barbara was born on September 22, 1959, in Chicago, IL, to the late Floyd and Mary Louise Stiller Gross. Barbra was a member of the Friends of Crittenden County Public Library and a longtime member of Frances Community Church. For many years, Barbara opened her heart and home to numerous foster children and left a lasting impact on them all.

Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer (Maggie) Tipton and Lacy Carter; son, Marshal Brown; sister, Theresa Ruth Baker; bonus grandchildren, Brandon Tipton, Karson Oliver, Waylin Carter and Hudson Lee; bonus greatgrandchild, Rhiannon Tipton; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her twin grandchildren, Conner and Chloe Tipton; sister, Mary Louise Spindler and brother, William Harold Gross.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Frances Cemetery in Frances, KY.
