Alfred Ray Sliger, 77, of Marion, Kentucky died Saturday at his home in Marion, KY. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving is his wife, Sheila Sliger of Marion, KY; sons, Nicholas John (Tammy) Sliger of Galien, Michigan and George Anthony (Terri) Sliger of Valparaiso, Indiana; sisters, Faye Duggan of Oakland, TN, Kay Glore and Roberta Cash both of Marion, KY; brother, Kenneth Sliger of Smyrna, TN; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Mansel and Gladys Estelle Sliger; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
