Virginia "Tatty" Pearl Higgins

Virginia "Tatty" Higgins, 91, of Fredonia, KY went to be with the Lord January 4, 2021 at Caldwell County Medical Center. She was born June 23, 1929 to the late William Earl and Lena (Watson) Garnett. She was a member of Mexico Baptist Church and enjoyed being around her family, especially her great-grand babies.
Survivors include her daughter, Kay (Ronnie) Jenkins of Fredonia, KY; daughter-in-law, Jayliene Higgins of Jeffersonville, IN; granddaughters; Beverly Davidson (Jason Hurley) of Fredonia, KY, Heather (Dan) Dawson of NewYork and Holly (Eric) Shoubridge of Washington; great-grandchildren, Brandon (Alex) Jackson and Lena Shoubridge and great-great grandchildren, Daryl Sherer and Charlee Rae Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Higgins; son, Darrel Higgins; sister, Sue Nelson and parents, William and Lena Garnett.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday January 8, 2021 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with burial following at Mexico Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00pm - 8:00pm Thursday or 10:00am-11:00am Friday at the funeral home.
