Ms. Virginia Catherine Ferrell

Virginia Ferrell, age 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 14, 2016, in the comfort of her home. She was born on April 26, 1924, to William and Olive McMaster in Rosiclare, IL.
As a teenager, she was baptized into Christ. She remained a faithful member of the Church of Christ until her health kept her from attending.
Virginia married James Randall Ferrell on August25, 1945. They enjoyed nearly 32 years together until his passing in 1977. Their first son, William Russell, was born in 1947, and their second son, James Stanley was born in 1950.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister and brother in law; Dorothy and Paul Sneed, and daughter in law; Billie Jo Ferrell.
She is survived by her sons, William and Nina Ferrell, and Stanley Ferrell; a brother; Bill and Sue McMaster, a sister; Betty and Bob Cox, a granddaughter; Ginnie Kerley, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Virginia retired from Ozark-Mahoning at the age of 65 and enjoyed many happy years of retirement.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Services will be held on Saturday December 17, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 A.M. till funeral time. Burial will follow at Fluorine Cemetery. Bro. Chris McDowell will officiate the services.
