Vernon L. McCaughn, 80, of Cave-In-Rock, IL died March 29, 2022 at Rosiclare Health and Rehab. Survivors include his sons, Vernon Glen McCaughn and Tony Alan (Stacy) McCaughn; grandchildren, Silver, Andrue and Travis and sister, Levonne Hiler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary McCaughn and parents, Glen and Helena McCaughn. Private services will be held at a later date. Hardin County Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
