Troy was a barber for many years in Champaign before moving back to the Southern Illinois the land he loved. There was no place as special to him as Hardin County. He moved once more to Green River, Wyoming to pursue a career in the trona mines. Once he was finished working, he was able to move back to Hardin County and refused to live anywhere else.
Troy loved to hunt and fish and roam the countryside. He had so many friends and family members who also enjoyed these things with him that he always had a wonderful time out and about. Troy had a very special smile and a twinkle in his eye that spelled mischief! Troy never met a stranger and most often would find someone he knew everywhere he went.
His favorite thing to do was to spend time with family and friends.
