Sarah Necie Jane Simmons, 94, of Cave-in-Rock, IL. died Wednesday June 29, 2016 at Hardin County General Hospital.
Survivors include her sons, Nolan (Beverly) Simmons and Lowell (Laverna) Simmons both of Cave-In-Rock, IL; daughter, Diane (David) Feazel of Cave-In-Rock, IL; 19 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Gilbert (Badeye) Simmons; sons, Frank, Billy Gail, Gene, Herbert and Kenneth Simmons; daughters, Velda McBee, Louise Warren and one infant daughter; parents, Rusaw and Dora VanHooser; and 5 brothers,
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday July 2, 2016 at Potters Church in Cave-in-Rock, IL with interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Friday at Potters Church.
Hardin County Funeral Service in Cave-in-Rock and Rosiclare, IL is in charge of arrangements.
