Sarah Lou English, 82, of Cave In Rock, IL., passed away on March 18, 2016 at the Hardin County General Hospital. She was born on July 31, 1933 in Elizabethtown, IL. to Amiel Goins and Belva (Oxford) Goins. Mrs. English was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Rosiclare, IL.
She is survived by a Daughter: Linda and Dan Lamar of Elizabethtown; Son: Dennis and Ruth Ann Foster of Paducah, KY.; 5 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; Sister: Ruby Heaton; Sister: Agnes McBee and friend Lavon Foster; Sister: Christina and Harold Gilland; Sister: Elva Lewis; Sister: Gail Miller; Sister: Edna and Arnie Foster; Brother: Eschol and Sue Goins; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Parents: Amiel and Belva Goins; Husband: Wayne English; Grandchild: Cody Foster; Brothers Ova and Charles Goins.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Rose Gilbert Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. As per her wishes, Mrs. English will be cremated and a private family burial will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Apostolic Church of Rosiclare or to Empire Cemetery in her memory.
