Ronald Wayne "Ron" Banks, 65, of Eddyville, KY. went to be with the Lord November 12, 2018 at Christian Care Center in Kuttawa, KY.
He was born on June 9, 1953 in Melrose Park, Illinois to the late Arthur and Margaret Helen Harnice Banks. He was a co-operator and owner with Philip Phelps of Druthers Restaurant in Princeton, KY. for over 30 years. His hobbies were family ancestry, reading and spending time with his family, friends and co-workers.
Ron is survived by his sister, Linda Buchanan of Kuttawa, KY.; aunt, Effie Paris of Fredonia, KY.; niece, Josette (Keith) Murphy of Zachary, LA.; nephew, Randy (Joy) Weimer of New Rockford, N.D. and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services are scheduled for 12 Noon Thursday November 15, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY. with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM Thursday until service time.
Donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans Association, 115 Eastview Dr., Shepherdsville, KY. 40165.
