Patricia L. Barkley

Patricia L. Barkley, 72, of Marion, KY. died Friday June 30, 2017 at her home in Marion, KY. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Paducah, KY, a 20 year employee of Franklin Asset Management in Louisville, KY and a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and attended Paducah Junior College and Memphis State University.
Survivors include her husband, Alben Barkley of Marion, KY; children, Kelly (Ray) Harris of Paducah, KY and Patrick (Erin) Mobley of Paducah, KY; step children, Lucas Barkley of Lexington, KY, Beth Barkley of Bardstown, KY and Clay Barkley of Louisville, KY; sisters, Vicki Norman of Wilkesboro, N.C., Cindy Elliott of Paducah, KY and Michal Herrington of Sedalia, MO; grandchildren, Andrew and Rachel Harris and Reagan and Ella Mobley; 7 step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Forest and Sara Edwards.
Per her request Mrs. Barkley was cremated and there will be no services.
The family would like to send a special thank you to her sister, Vicki Norman and also Marty Sinquefield, Betty Driver, Carol Wilson, Debbie Paulson, Linette Barkley and all of her Facebook friends that were so helpful with prayers and encouragement. Also, thank you to her hospice nurse, Tina Travis, whose help at the end was a great comfort.
