Ms. Mildred Mary (Klaffer) Sims, 81, of Cave In Rock, IL. passed away on Wednesday May 6, 2015 at the Hardin County General Hospital in Rosiclare. She was born on February 3, 1934 in Eldorado, IL. to Daniel Klaffer and Sara Geneva Naomi (Horton) Klaffer.
She is survived by a Daughter: Deborah Wheeler and friend Steve Wheeler; Daughter: Rose Mary and Dewey Davenport; Daughter: Beverly Jo and Sam Sandefur; Son: David and Mabyn Sims; 17 Grandchildren; numerous Great Grand Children; Sister: Helen Bond; Sister: Linda and Clark Bond; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Parents: Daniel and Sara Geneva Sims; Husband: Jewel “Bud” Sims; Sister: Velma Jones; Brother: Delmar Klaffer; Son: Mark Sims; Great Granddaughter: Zoie Renea Mathews.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 9, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Potters Church in Cave In Rock. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 A.M. until funeral time. Rev. Larry Lewis and Rev. Arthur Austin Jr. will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
