Michael Barry "Mickey" Nelson, 75, of Marion, KY died Friday at Baptist Health Paducah. He was a member of Marion Christian Church, NRA and National Watch and Clock Collectors Association.
Surviving is his wife, Jo Nelson of Marion, KY; daughter, Michelle Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO; sons, Russell Nelson of Marion, KY, Michael Scott Nelson and Barry Todd Nelson both of Nashville, TN and 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Hugh and Louise Nelson and 1 brother.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Monday January 5, 2015 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Crayne Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the Mary Hall Ruddiman No Kill Animal Shelter, 24 Just A Mere Road, Marion, KY 42064.
