Melba Lee Wilson, 94, of Salem, KY. died October 30, 2019 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehab. She was a member of Life In Christ Church. Mrs. Wilson, along with her husband Bob, fostered over 100 children during their lifetimes.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy (Bill Tracy) Hodge of Salem, KY. and Mary Jane (Lawrence) Andrews of Jefferson, GA.; grandchildren, Richard Dean Buchanan of Salem, KY., Joelle Allison of Acworth, GA. and Barrett Belt of Marion, KY.; Billy Hawkins who was like a son; several step grandchildren; several great and step great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Wilson; parents, Victor and Lavinia Hunt; great grandson, Rue Buchanan; brother, Marvin Hunt and sister Sarah Stout.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday November 2, 2019 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Love Cemetery.
