Johnson, Marjorie-Age 83 of Marion, Ky., passed away Sept 15, 2010. Born Oct 5, 1926 in Nortonville, Ky..

Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Johnson, her bother Thomas Choate, Richmond Va., and her parents Raleigh and Mildred Choate, Irvington, Ky.. Survived by her sister, June Choate, Lexington, Ky., and children June Robinette, Lexington, Ky., Thomas A. Johnson, Jr. [Sharon] and Robert W. Johnson [Linda] both from Nashville, Tn and grandchildren Ronnie, Andy and Allan Robinette, Valarie Robinette Stinnett [Brandon],

Emily Robinette Naaktgeboren [Micheal], and Rachel Johnson and great-grandchildren Collin and Ella Stinnett.

Marjorie was a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Masters Degree in Education form Murray State University. Her elementry and secondary teaching tenure included Ridgely, TN., Puryear, Tn., Hickman, Ky., McKenzie, Tn., Lynch, Ky., and Webster County High School where she completed her teaching career as the guidance counselor. She was proud to consistently improve upon the number of college bound students and

increasing the financial assistance opportunitys for these same students. Her passion was music and she enjoyed its soothing comfort until her passing. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 17th from 5:00 to 9:00 PM @ Gilbert Funeral Home, Marion, Ky. Funeral services will be held @ 2:00 PM Sat.,Sept 18th at The Marion United Methodist Church with Brother Wayne Garvey and Rev. Charles Brantley officiating. Pallbearers will include her

children and grandchildren and Ronald C. Beavers.
