Kevin Baldwin

Kevin Ronald Baldwin, age 58, of Rosiclare, Illinois, entered his heavenly home on February 20, 2023. He was a member of Rosiclare First Baptist Church.



He was born on June 13, 1964, in Rosiclare, Illinois, the son of William Ronald and Mary Kay (Dodson) Baldwin. He spent most of his life working alongside his parents at Ronnie’s Service Station, Baldwin’s Body Shop, and Baldwin’s Towing. He was a hard worker and could often be found at “Ronnie’s” on Sundays pumping gas for customers who were on their way to or from church. He loved NASCAR racing (especially Jeff Gordon), Chevy Monte Carlos, his dogs, and the annual demolition derby, although he was always more interested in winning “best looking car” than he was in winning the actual derby.



Kevin is survived by his two sons, Corey Ronald Baldwin of Rosiclare and Cody Wayne Baldwin of Golconda; grandson, Carter Baldwin; granddaughter, Chloe Baldwin; sister, Rhonda Kay (Bobby) Shore of Rosiclare; two aunts, Cleoma (Wendell) Robinson of Rosiclare and Patty Robertson of rural Anna; nieces, Krissy (Jon) Biggs of Harrisburg and Whitney Shore of Rosiclare; nephew, Colby Shore of Rosiclare; and three great-nephews, Drew, Will, and Liam.



Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, William Ronald and Mary Kay Baldwin.



Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m.Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Hardin County Funeral Service with burial to follow at Twitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
