Helen Ann McConnell

Helen Ann McConnell, 80, of Marion, Ky. died December 12, 2018 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was a member of Repton Baptist Church, Eastern Star Chapter 135, and a former Crittenden County Magistrate.

Survivors include her children Billy McConnell of Marion, KY., Gary McConnell of Providence, KY., Mike McConnell of Marion, KY., Darlene McLaughlin of Marion, KY. and Charlene Walker of Marion, KY.; sister Sue McDowell of Marion, KY.; 19 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hayden McConnel; parents, Frank Gillespie and Margie Winders; her sister Carolyn Hinchee and great grandchild Liliana McConnell.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday December 16, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial at Mt. Zion cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
