HART, Helen L. - Of Flint, age 78, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016

at McLaren-Flint.



Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, July 29, 2016 at Gilbert Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until service time Friday.



Burial in Mapleview Cemetery in Marion, Kentucky.



In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.



Helen was born in Crittenden County, Kentucky on April 26, 1938, the daughter of the late James and Juanita (Weldon) Hughes. Helen migrated to Michigan by way of Indiana through job opportunities. On May 29, 1971, she married Floyd E. Hart. Helen retired in 1998 after 32 years at Trinity Industries.



Surviving are husband Floyd;



Step-daughter and family, Melissa (Hart) Marc Rucinski and their children, Jaclyn and Jarod;



Sister-in-law, Jinni (John) Shinkle and their children, Stephani and her son, Dallas; Gretchen and her daughter, Ashlea;



Great-nephew, Justin;



Aunt Margaret Weldon and her family;



Virginia (Weldon) and Donnie Tinsley and family;



Mike and Toni Weldon and family;



Patricia (Weldon) and Tommy Vied and family;



Nancy (Weldon) and Marty Hodge and family;



Charlotte (James) Thacker and family;



and Kay (Weldon) and Joe Reesor and family.



She was preceded in death by nephew, Jon Shinkle, uncle, Walter Weldon and cousin Tommy Weldon.
