George is survived by his son, Steve Conkle of Elizabethtown, IL; daughters, Robin (Don) Stocker of Wisconsin and Theresa Catlett of Utah and 8 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Hayett Conkle; son, Scott Conkle; parents, Fred and Ella Conkle; brothers, Albert, Charles, Jasper, Fredrick, and Boyd Conkle and sister, Linnie Volkert.
Hardin County Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
