Gareth Wayne Hardin, 67, of Marion, KY died Saturday February 20, 2016 at the Ray And Kay Eckstein Hospice Care
Center in Paducah, KY. He was a member of the Marion United Methodist Church, longtime President and CEO of Farmers Bank and Trust in Marion, KY., former Chairman of Crittenden County Economic Development Corporation and Chairman of Farmers Bancorp.
Surviving is his wife, Dulcie Hardin of Marion, KY; sons, Matthew (Amy) Hardin of Marion, KY and David (Kristen) Hardin of Princeton, KY; grandchildren, Lucas and Ryan Hardin of Marion, KY and Layla, Gavin and River Gareth Hardin of Princeton, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Mary Gwendolyn Hardin and grandson, Andrew Lee Hardin.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday February 24, 2016 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 4-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the Marion United Methodist Church Building Fund or Food Pantry, 112 S. College St., Marion, KY. 42064.
