Francis Wayne Woolverton, 77, of Golconda, IL died Tuesday April 5, 2016 at Parkview Nursing Home in Paducah, KY.

Survivors include his sons, Cody Woolverton of Jackson, TN, Francis Wayne Woolverton, Jr. of Granite City, IL, Kenny Woolverton of Granite City, IL, Gary D. Woolverton of South Roxanna, IL, Lee Woolverton of New Burnside, IL and Mark Woolverton of Metropolis, IL; daughters, Sherry Cherry of Wilburn, IL, Sue Cress of Brighton, IL. Brandy Mullins of Springfield, IL, Shardi Oxford of Golconda, IL and Nell Morse of Paducah, KY; brother, Darrell Woolverton of Hartford, IL; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, C. Diane Woolverton and parents, Francis and Doyline Woolverton.

Services are scheduled for 12 Noon Saturday April 9, 2016 at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL with interment in Rose Cemetery in Thebes, IL. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
